Our aromatic floral waters are grown, harvested, distilled and bottled by hand on our small family farm in Bend, OR. We take care to make sure every batch is thoughtfully handcrafted so it reaches you with all of the aromatic benefits to make your day great.
These hyrdosols are created with the intent of making hyrdosol and not as a byproduct of extracting essential oils. We choose to leave our essential oils in, giving you full aromatic benefits. Hyrdosols are more gentle than essential oils and can be used directly on the skin without diluting. We do not dillute our hydrosol, you are getting 100% pure steam distilled hydrosol when using our products.
Herbs for your First Aid Kit
Yarrow Flowers: The flowering tops of Yarrow are used to staunch bleedign and help heal wounds. You will recieve a 2oz spice jar to place in your first aid kit to help with any wounds or scrapes. This pairs well with our wound wash spray and our wound salve.
Wound Wash: This amazing floral water is a blend of Monarda, yarrow, lavender, calendula and rose geranium. It is a gentle cleansing tonic for wounds, scrapes and burns. Use this along side our yarrow flowers and follow up with our wound salve before bandaging. This can also be used as a poultice as it is 30 times more potent than brewing a tea but more gentle than using straight essential oils and no need to dilute it! Bite and Sting Relief:
This blend takes the itch and relieves discomfort. This is a blend of Basil, plantain, yarrow and monarda. All of which have been used in many cultures for treating bites/stings and burns.
Bug Off:
I made this blend this season as I am always the target of every bug. I can say since using this spray, I have noticed a massive difference in my lack of bites. This blend includes, monarda, lemon thyme, scented geranium, catmint, lemon balm, and lavender. It smells amazing and seems to keep the bugs at bay! Spray on clothing and skin for the most effectiveness.
*Refrigeration will extend the shelf life of your hydrosol. Most hydrosols will be stable for 12-18 months from time of distillation. (your batch number on your hydrosol tells you the date of distillation) If at any time you see what looks like a ribbon floating in your hydrosol, it has been compromised and should be thrown away. Your bottle was sterile at the time of bottling and any time the bottle is opened you run the risk of contamination, spraying is the best way to keep it uncontaminated. We use no preservatives in our hydrosol as we believe in keeping all the benefits of the plant in tact.
